Description
This is not tinned fish. It’s just salmon in a can with a pinch of salt.
Before you give Wildfish too much credit, they want you to know, this isn’t a new product concept. The OG Klawock cannery got the ball rolling back in 1878. Smoking? That’s a luxury. With Alaska boasting the world’s largest wild sockeye population, plain packed sockeye came about from the urgent need to get sockeye into cans as fast as possible.
Tasting notes: Deep red flesh– courtesy of the ocean, not dyed. The salmonyist flavored of all Alaska salmon, in fact it’s Salmony AF, in the most delicious way possible. For real salmon freaks. And just to be crystal clear: this is not smoked!!!
Serve it up: Crack open a can, dump it in a bowl, add a dollop of mayo, a spoonful of relish, and make yourself a salmon sandwich.
