The beans in this bar were grown and harvested at the Douglas Dager Farm in Venezuela. Both the bounty and beauty of Douglas Dager’s cacao farm are simply breathtaking. Nestled in a valley, with the lush Henri Pittier Park on one side and the verdant mountains adorned with flamboyant, bright yellow Aragua Ney trees on the other, the small permaculture plantation is magnificent. Thirteen Venezuelan heirloom varieties of criollo cacao are grown here, making Douglas’s plantation one of the most exclusive in the world.
