Description
The genetics in this region is a trinitario blend with around 10-12% criollo. Many plants were established in the 1990’s through projects with international cooperation and have been very successful adapting to the region. The Bosawas is a very important reserve for biodiversity and climate. It is considered the “lung” of Central America. Ingemann’s are always promoting agroforestry vs monocrop for it to be sustainable in time. All of their organic producers come from this region.
