A world renowned spice for its delicate fragrance, pink pepper excites the senses by enhancing fruity Madagascan Criollo cacao with a floral backnote.

Pink 'pepper' is a different species than other widely-known peppercorns such as black or white. Rather than growing on vines, pink peppercorns are the berries of the Peruvian pepper tree, native to South America. More fragrant than other peppercorns, its profile is reminiscent of juniper and pine with subtle fruitness. It pairs beautifully with chocolate as well as it would to fatty meat and fish dishes.

TASTING: peppery, tart, fruity
PAIRING: herbaceous spirits, e.g. gin or mezcal
CACAO ORIGIN: Madagascar, Ambolikapiky Plantation
MADE IN FRANCE

INGREDIENTS: 75% cocoa, organic cane sugar, pure organic cocoa butter, emulsifier (GM)-free soya lecithin), organic pink pepper
