Description
Porcini mushrooms have a rich color, plump stems and hefty caps. When cooked, they give a luscious, buttery aroma and an earthy flavor, with a smooth, silky texture that makes them wonderfully versatile to prepare. From fall through spring, fleeting porcini seasons come and go in different parts of the world, but these dried autumn porcinis can recreate their charm anytime at all.
To rehydrate, simply submerge in water for two hours before use.
