Biscuity Tanzanian cacao is complimented by smooth honey orchid tea flavor in this chocolate with low astringency, a characteristic lychee fragrance and red date sweetness.
Honey orchid tea is a type of oolong tea cultivated in the Phoenix Mountain of Guangdong Province in southern China. This lot was hand-harvested from Zhen Ya village in Spring 2010. Made into a Hongcha (western black tea) and further aged for eight years. This bar is a collaboration with rare tea curator – Pekoe & Imp.
