A dark milk chocolate with an elegant profile from heirloom cacao, this bar tastes of brown butter and toffee with subtle notes of mocha.
Germany native Volker Lehman owns and runs the Tranquilidad estate in the Beninano region. There, he cultivates and ferments unaltered wild cacao found in remote areas of the region. The Heirloom Beniano cacao used for this chocolate contains about 10% more cacao butter and more flavor than most hybrid beans, yielding a naturally creamier chocolate.
