Ben Tre is a coastal province located on Vietnam’s southern coast. An expansive network of rivers and swamplands that reach into the farmlands make this region ideal for a variety of crops, including cacao. Vietnamese cacao cultivation started in the late 19th century and has dramatically increased in the last 15 years.
