Description
Southern Italy’s best kept secret. Aromas of spices, grapes, and plums shine through this velvety and tannic condiment. Appropriate wherever a syrupy balsamico is warranted.
Produced exclusively with Negroamaro and Black Malvasia Grapes grown in Lizzanello, this rich and flavorful condiment is a labor of love. Grapes are dried on the vine and finished on wooden trellises before being cooked down to a must and reduced to 1/5 of the initial volume. The lusciously thick solution is aged in wooden barrels for a minimum of 4 years before it’s ready to grace your pantry. No additives, preservatives, or dyes are used and no sugar is added.
Made in Lecce, Puglia.
